News of an 'Unplugged' evening 17th December and plans for the gig in May beginning to take shape behind the scenes.
The Sectionals supporting 'Unplugged' are on the website calendar, more details later.

On October 1st the band will be joining us so i'd like to try and finish Blackbird and Nica Libres this week - the plan being to run Fantasy, Nica Libres, Blackbird - and maybe People Watching - with the band the following week!
Therefore can you bring music for BLACKBIRD, NICA LIBRES and PEOPLE WATCHING for 24th September - having practiced your part of course....

That was quite the warm-up for the last of our triallers !
This week we covered more of 'Blackbird' and focussed on some key areas of 'Fantasy'.
Now its guide-track time to practice and learn the song !
We had a great preview of the next arrangement we could expect, a version of 'Human Nature'
Don't forget the Pembroke Castle is our post-rehearsal social spot - all welcome.

Sing and Social night welcomed potential new members this week.
We started to learn Sam's new arrangement of "Blackbird" (Lennon-McCartney) then spent time revisting '"Nica Libres at dusk" (Ben Howard) before spending the rest of evening socialising and making our guests welcome.
The recipe for a Nica Libre is ... 2 oz Nicaraguan Rum, Juice of half a lime, Ice, Coke.
We got through half a bottle of Rum on wednesday so hope you all got some.
